The film festival, featuring three Bangla movies from Bangladesh, begins on ๐—ง๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐—ก๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿญ at the Hoyts Entertainment Quarters at Moore Park, Sydney with the screening of the film โ€œ๐‡๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐š: ๐€ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ž๐ซโ€™๐ฌ ๐“๐š๐ฅ๐žโ€- a docudrama directed by Piplu Khan based on the life of the Honโ€™ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.


The three-day festival is organized and hosted by the Consulate General of Bangladesh, Sydney, and supported by event partner BongOz films. 


Hasina: A Daughter's Tale screening is an invitation-only event with limited seats. Please register your interest with ss.sydney@mofa.gov.bd as soon as possible to receive invitation.

Guests are requested to follow the Covid19 safety rules of NSW Health and government. Entry to the cinema is not allowed without Covid19 vaccine certification.


Hasina: A Daughter's Tale is a 2018 Bangladeshi independent historical docudrama directed by Piplu Khan, based on the life of Sheikh Hasina, the tenth Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The film was jointly produced by the Centre for Research and Information and Applebox Films
