The film festival, featuring three Bangla movies from Bangladesh, begins on 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 at the Hoyts Entertainment Quarters at Moore Park, Sydney with the screening of the film “𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚: 𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞”- a docudrama directed by Piplu Khan based on the life of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.

The three-day festival is organized and hosted by the Consulate General of Bangladesh, Sydney, and supported by event partner BongOz films.

Guests are requested to follow the Covid19 safety rules of NSW Health and government. Entry to the cinema is not allowed without Covid19 vaccine certification.

Hasina: A Daughter's Tale is a 2018 Bangladeshi independent historical docudrama directed by Piplu Khan, based on the life of Sheikh Hasina, the tenth Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The film was jointly produced by the Centre for Research and Information and Applebox Films
